Happiness Abounds with Blossoming Happiness Dies Scrapbooking Page

 Hey Scrappers!

The purpose of today's page was to show how you can weave paper strips to create unique backgrounds. I also wanted to highlight the flowers in the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set and the Blossoming Happiness Dies. I stamped the flowers in Early Espresso Ink then with the Blushing Bride Ink and the watercolor brushes I colored in the flowers. I love water coloring with ink, lots of different hues from lightest to darkest can be created. The leaves are stamped in Blushing Bride on Vanilla cardstock.

The Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for weddings, bridal showers, nurseries, and more.

To create my page:

1.) Using the Paper Trimmer, cut 1/2" strips of Abigail Rose DSP. You will need a total of (36) strips. I then began weaving them onto a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.

2.) Next, using Early Espresso Ink stamp the largest flower and a smaller one from the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set onto Very Vanilla cardstock.

3.) Using Water Painters with Blushing Bride Ink watercolor all the flowers.

4.) Next, using the coordinating Blossoming Happiness Dies, die cut the flowers out with the Mini Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.

5.) Stamp the two sizes of leaves in Blushing Bride Ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and die cut them out.

6.) Begin arranging the flowers and leaves as you wish. I adhered some flat and others I added Stampin' Dimensionals to for added depth, so everything wasn't flat. In the center of the flowers, I added the Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Gems.

7.) Using the Natural Finish Ribbon and Early Espresso Ink, I hand stamped the little flower bundle from the Happiness Abounds stamp set onto the Ribbon.

8.) Photo Mats in Early Espresso Cardstock: (1) 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" and 4-1/4" x 6-1/4".

Blushing Bride Mats are: 4" x 4" and 4" x 6".
