 Hey there, Scrappers!

Happy Wednesday! Just a few more days until the weekend! Where are my bird lovers? This adorable Sweet Songbirds Bundle is the cutest thing, ever!! The bundle inspired my card for today. Looks complicated, but I promise you it is not!!

    *  Scraps for stamping and fussy cutting the branch, the nest, the bird, and the bird's wing.

Daffodil Delight Cardstock:

    *  Scrap for punching out the songbird's beak using the Songbird Builder Punch.

2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper:

     *  3/4" x 3-3/4"

     *  2-3/4" x 3-3/4"

     *  1-3/4" x 5"

Instructions:

1.)  Burnish all score lines with your Bone Folder and fold the card base as shown in the photo below:

2.)  Adhere all the Tahitian Tide Designer Series Paper to the Basic White cardstock layers, then adhere to the scored sections of the Tahitian Tide card base and the front of the narrow2-1/4" x 11" piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.)  Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue adhere the 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" front to the bottom of the 1-1/4" step layer front. Flip card over and adhere the backside together with the same adhesive.

4.)  Stamp the bird and the bird's wing in Tahitian Tide Classic Ink. Using the Songbird Builder Punch, punch out the bird and the bird's wing. Use the same ink pad to stamp the sentiments on the Basic White banner and the 1/2" strip. On the 1/2" strip flag one end with your Paper Snip Scissors

5.)  Using Daffodil Delight cardstock, punch out the beak with the same punch. Stamp two dots for the bird's eyes in Memento Black Ink. Apply liquid glue on the bird in the beak area. Next, pick up the beak with your Take Your Pick Tool using the putty end. Bring the beak cut out to the waiting glue and adhere.

6.)  Stamp the tree branch and the nest in Gray Granite Ink. Stamp the leaves next to the tree branch using the Parakeet Party Ink. Fussy cut using your Paper Snips.

7.)  Stamp the branch and leaves just like you did for the outside of the card, but this time stamp on the bottom right corner of the 3" x 4" piece of Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the greeting in Tahitian Tide Ink as shown below and adhere to the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

8.)  Adhere the stitched Basic White circle to the stitched Tahitian Tide circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere to the front of the 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece using Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere the branch with leaves to the circle piece using liquid glue. Next, attach the songbird to the nest using the same adhesive. Using the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals adhere the nest with the bird inside to the tree branch. ***Be careful not to place adhesive past the end of the circle. If you do your card will not fit in the standard A2 envelope.

9.)  Adhere the sentiment that is on the stitched banner to the bottom of the card base as shown using liquid glue and the other small, flagged sentiment under the tree branch.

Supply List Below and Thank you for viewing!
