Butterfly Kisses and Best Butterflies Abound Scrapbooking Page

 Hey Scrappers!

Are butterflies and bright colors of a fan of yours? If so, this layout will be one you'll want to create. The inspiration for this page came from all the scrap pieces I had left over from the Butterfly Kisses 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Pack. It's just one of those paper packs that you want to use every piece. Some were larger than others so I took my trimmer and cut them down to all various sizes, but nothing bigger than 3/4".

Here is how to create and look for a complete supply list below. Thank you for viewing.

Measurements:

*One 12" x 12" piece of White cardstock for your base.

*Multiple scrap pieces from the Butterfly Kisses DSP, no bigger than 3/4" strips.

*Dinner plate to trace a half circle as an outline for scrap strips.

*Paper Snip scissors to flag the end on one side of the strips.

*(4) Photo Mats that are 4" x 4" in coordinating pieces of designer series paper.

*Basic White scraps for stamping butterflies from the Best Butterflies Stamp Set.

Directions:

1.) Cut and use up as many strips to complete the layout. I used scrap strips no bigger than 3/4" and smaller.

2.) Take a dinner plate and lightly trace a half circle as a guide to begin placing your strips with your Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.) (Optional) I flagged the end of my strips before adhering them to the cardstock base, but this step is optional.

4.) Place your 4" x 4" photo mats slightly lower than the middle and alternate them just a bit and adhere them down.

5.) Next, use your scrap pieces of Basic White cardstock to stamp in various coordinating colors that match the Designer Series Paper with the Best Butterflies Stamp Set. Use your Paper Snips Scissors to fussy cut around them.

6.) After cutting them out Take Your Pick Tool with the putty end and pick-up the smaller Rhinestone Basic Jewels to use to embellish the butterfly antennas and the largest ones for the body. Adhere down the middle of the photo mats creating a unique border with adhesive.
