Pointed Star Layout

 Hey Scrappers!

I have a fun one for you today! Don't be intimidated by it-it is super easy to create!

Measurements:

* So Saffron 12 x 12 cardstock base

*Basic Gray coordinating 12 x 12 piece of cardstock; cut to one piece 8" x 8", two pieces 4" x 8", and one piece 4" x 4".

*Coordinating Designer Series Paper; cut four pieces of two patterns @3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and the other four pieces in the second piece of coordinating paper to 3-1/2" x 3-1/2".

*Third piece of coordinating Designer Series Paper cut to 3-7/8" x 3-7/8"

Instructions:

1.) With your Basic Gray cardstock pieces arrange them as shown below with your Multipurpose Liquid Glue. (2) 4" x 8" pieces, then the 8" x 8" piece to create your star outline.

2.) Take your Designer Paper squares and begin adhering them around the cardstock as shown below alternating the patterns. Leave about a 1/4" gap between the Basic Gray cardstock and the pattern paper squares.

3.) Next take your last piece of Basic Gray 4" x 4" and adhere to the middle of the star. Cut a third piece of coordinating Designer paper to 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" and glue down on the Basic Gray piece as shown below:

4.) Lastly, I used the reverse side of the gray polka dotted flower paper from the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper and used my So Saffron and Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color in sections that I fussy cut and added to the page. Added some Wink of Stella Clear Pen to the flowers and adhered with some Stampin' Dimensionals for some dimension.

Enjoy creating! Supply List is Below! Thanks for stopping in and viewing!
