National Best Friends Day Card

 Hey Scrappers!

In honor of Best Friends Day I created this adorable fun-fold card for my bestie using the By My Side Stamp Set and a few of the Stampin' Blends. A full supply list is below after the tutorial.

Measurements:

Brights 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (1) 4" x 5-1/4" and (1) 1-1/4" x 2-3/4"

Melon Mambo Cardstock    4-1/4" x 5-1/2" and 3-1/4" x 8-1/2", scored @4-1/4"

Basic White Cardstock Scraps for: Largest square in the Stylish Shapes Dies, smallest rectangle banner in the Stitched Rectangle Dies, and third largest rectangle for inside of card.

Coordinating Cardstock for inside die pieces (optional)

Instructions:

1.) Stamp either little girl or boy from the By My Side stamp set in Memento Black Ink on the largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

2.) Adhere the larger piece of designer series paper to the Melon Mambo cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.) Using the small rectangle stamp from the Sweet Songbirds stamp set or an embossing folder decorate the small Memon Mambo front piece and glue it to the front of the card base.

4.) Add what you would like on the inside flap piece with either stamps, dies, or nothing. Totally up to you.

5.) Glue the smaller piece of designer series paper to the very bottom edge of the largest basic white square and adhere to the front of the flap piece.

6." In Memento Black Ink, stamp your image and color with the Stampin' Blends. I chose to use: Natural Tone SU700, Melon Mambo, Daffoldil Delight, and Night of Navy.

7.) Stamp a sentiment in Melon Mambo Classic Ink on the stitched banner piece.

8.) With a piece of Black and White Gingham Ribbon tie a small bow and adhere with a glue dot, then glue your sentiment down and add the rhinestones on either side.

9.) Optional: I applied Wink of Stella Glitter brush to my completed image.
