Craft Fair Idea #1 Cup of Tea and Chocolates Basket

Hey Scrappers and Happy Friday to you!

Do you participate in Craft Fairs? If you do then this sweet, no pun intended is a great one to sell. I was inspired from a Pinterest post I had seen and I knew immediately I was going to use the Cup of Tea Bundle adding a Tea K-Cup and some wrapped Hershey Nuggets. These are so simple and fun to create and also cost efficient. You can make two out of one sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock. These remind me so much of the Longaberger Baskets or a Thirty-One Tote. :)

I know what you are probably thinking, it's wayyyy...to early to begin thinking about Craft Fairs, but I like to start early as it takes time to create all the products I want to represent in my booth.

All Measurements, Instructions, and Complete Supply List are below. Thanks for stopping in.

Measurements:

*Night of Navy cardstock cut @2-1/2" x 4", scored on the 4" side @1/2" and 2" and on the 2-1/2" side score @ 1/2" and 3-1/2" As shown below:

*Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper strip cut @ 1-1/2" x 10"

* Two Night of Navy Cardstock handles cut @ 3/8" x 4" and One piece @1/2" x 10"

*Approximately 10" of Starry Sky ribbon doubled to wrap around the 6" x 8" Cellophane Bag and for added your tag.

Instructions:

1.) As shown below cut your Night of Navy 2-1/2" x 4" piece of cardstock to create your tabs.

2.) After cutting, place your adhesive on all (4) tabs and adhere to the 1/2" sides of the box tray.

3.) Using your Tear & Tape Adhesive, run it along the bottom of your Designer Paper Strip that is 1-1/2" x 10" and on one side as shown below:

3.) Peel off the backing of each strip and begin working around the bottom of the base tray, try to get as close to the bottom edge of the tray as possible as shown:

Make sure your starting point to begin wrapping is a little more than halfway over from the middle of the tray.

4.) Next, using your Bone Folder, take the handle strips measuring 3/8" x 4" and begin curling the Night of Navy handles, giving them a slight curve. Apply glue dots to the bottom edges and place on the OUTSIDE of the basket on either side.

5.) Take your 1/2" x 10" strip of Night of Navy cardstock and apply another strip of Tear & Tape, peel off the backing and begin wrapping around the top of the basket beginning a little more than halfway of the top of the basket. By applying this strip it will give a nice finish to the tote and cover of the handle bottoms.

6.) Cut (3) pieces of coordinating Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper to 1" x 3" and apply some strong adhesive like Tear & Tape and wrap around the Hershey Nuggets.

7.) Die Cut a 1-3/4" circle from the Stylish Shape Dies in another piece of coordinating Designer Series Paper to cover up the top of your Tea K-Cup pod.

8.) Die cut the smallest tag from the Tea Cup Dies on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock and stamp in Night of Navy Ink a sentiment from the Cup of Tea Stamp Set.

9.) Place everything in your backet and package it up as shown below.
